Whew!!! Glad to hear it wasn't you.
Hey, let's solve this problem. We can do this.
Hmmm.... They don't think it's mold or other detectable pathogens.
The kids go home and get better, go back to school and break out again. It's not everyone and it only seems to be certain classrooms (we have a school here with the same problem).
I bet it's cooties.
What do cooties look like.... does anyone know?
Jeffers

Never been infected with COOTIES myself, but I think my x-H is THE Cootie.
As for the mysterious recurring rash ... hmmmmmm, lemme think.
Ummm, I have questions before I make my forensically informed guess, k Jeffers.
- How long ago did this all start?
- What parts of the body are affected with the rash?

Quincy,
We had an outbreak in SC last year. This year in PA, NY, WV, Va, OH, OR and WA. Only a few schools each.
In SC last year's 2nd graders (now 3rd) aren't having problems, neither are current 2nd graders. But, they have closed off their old room.
Rashes occur on face, arms, legs and body... I guess that's everywhere.
In Gig Harbor tests found unusually high levels of dust, dandruff, and skin, blamed on overactive ventilation system that took too much moisture out of the air.
Student in a PA HS tried to use sandpaper on their skin to get their school to close. In PA they are claiming psychosomatic hysteria. I guess that means they're clueless.
Geez, what a topic. I must be really bored.
Jeffers
