For those of you that don't know my situation, my WW had a PA, I went on anti-d (zoloft and efixor at different times), she left em for the OM, the OM ended it, she came back, started on recovery, and she moved back in on Monday.
Somewhere between the beginning of our recovery and her moving back in (at least five days prior to her moving back), I have experienced an increased labido. It has been very akward. Rubbing my wife's feet can cause a physical reaction, talking to her on the phone can do so. Thinking about what they did sexually can even cause it! The last I dislike the most - it makes me feel dirty as if I am excited by kiddie porn or something.
I spoke to my counselor about it and he stated that such was not uncommon but that he did not know the reason for such. I even asked my doctor if she could prescribe anything to decrease my labido. Neither I nor my wife want to have that sort of relationship yet. We are still working on simply being kind and affectionate.
Has anyone else (especially men) experienced an increased labido at any time during the betrayal and recovery? When she was still active in the affair, I had NO labido what so ever (I think much of it due to acute depression).
Do any of you have any ideas as to why this would occur? I thought perhaps it was some man/animalistic response or desire to go reclaim what is "mine" - that mentally I want to restake (pardon the pun) my "claim." I have no clue honestly. I just know that it is not an enjoyable situation to be in - especially the fact that I get a physical reaction for visualizing what they did.
