Hey all, just trying to block out the sounds of the 8 & 4 year old playing tag in our tiny house.
Wondering if I can convince my friend to come dig us out cause I can't open my door. Blocked by a snowdrift you know.
Praying they go to bed before 10. Wondering if I should just take a xanax and hope they aren't up all night.
Elizabeth

Well, I thought I was going to go on a spur of the moment trip with kids and SO, but didn't happen (and I won't let myself wonder why ). They have been running around all day(working my nerves) and now finally youngest is asleep, lets hope it lasts all night. D is cleaning her room(she's been doing that for three days . I have had enough of children today, noone has left the house at all (except SO) because of the snow and sleet. I'm quite bored. Can't wait till SO gets home even though it will be really late.

What am I doing on a Saturday night??
My son is in bed sleeping like a baby (which all parents know means up every few hours!!) Was watching the Leaf game with H till got in a arguement about respect. Now he is getting himself nicely drunk on the couch, and being miserable about all the pain he has caused us. And here I am commiserating, on the MB site with you guys!!
Well I guess Im having a bad day. At least the Leafs are winning.

the funny thing is i never told him he was on restriction. his friend told me this before husband and others got here. he has been asked a few times to do things with them and said no way all on his own. it kinda makes me feel good. at least he's smart enough to do this.

Well good for him, our house was always the house where H and friends hung out, they played alot of pinnochle. As kids got older them and their friends always hung out at our house, even have a pool table now, so makes it nice for them.
Always made me feel good that H and kids wanted to be here, as to some place else, meant they were comfortable.
Dawn

Hello everyone,
I went to church retreat today and came home inspired to search the web for favorite hymns. I found a cool web site with lyrics and melodies of hymns and folk songs from around the world.
I LOVE Scotland, so here is a favorite. Scotland the Brave
Estes

Estes, you n otice I said they played it!!
They gave me a dummy sheet and tried so hard to teach me one night when they where one short, and I just couldn't get it, I have a hard time with spades.
Glad that you had a good time at your retreat, that is another thing that I can't do is sing, my kids fight over who has to sit next to me in church. Didn't say that I love to sing tho!!
Dawn Dawn
