I feel my time here has come to an end.

I decided to stay on here after my H and I entered in to True Recovery because I felt that I could give a little back of what I'd been given when I was dealing with the pain of my H's A.
I find less and less posts that I can respond to and add anything to personally.
I didn't do everything by the MB book but I did take the MB prinicples and make them work for me in a way I felt they could work.
To the people that posted in reply to me....I thank you.....every ounce af advice I was given was taken to heart even the advice that had to be pounded into my head. For those that had to get "rough" with me....I thank you....I've learned alot of valuable lessons. Lessons that I take with me on my journey of happiness with my H.
We have a brand new relationship....which probably would not be possible without the help of MB.
I've learned alot in the 10 months that I've been here.....
I cannot control anyone but myself.
No matter what happens....I will make it.
I am worthy of being happy.
I've become a new person. My outlook on my life and my marriage is completely different than it was 1 year ago.
Because of this site I have learned that I don't have to "lie down and take it". This would explain my impatience with those that seem to be doing this very thing. It's so easy for someone that has already been through it to say it......but I also remember how hard it was to change it.
I may still lurk for a while....out of habit but I truly feel that I have nothing left to offer anyone besides the fact that I find less and less time to be on my computer.
For those of you that have joined recently and for those that are still dealing with an ongoing A.......believe in yourself....and listen to those here at MB....they do know what they are talking about.
I am a success story and I'm proud to say that. It didn't happen overnight and it didn't happen without ALOT of HARD work.
Thanks for sharing this place with me....even though I might have ruffled some feathers from time to time.....and although I've agreed to disagree with some.....I've respected and still do respect everyone here.

Ms. Priss,
I wish you every happiness that marriage and life has to offer.
I'm sad to see you go, but I understand. I felt your story and the way you handled your delimma was more of a combo of MB/Tough Love, and I realize that each individual here knows their WS better than us, so you knew what would work best.
Congratulations on your recovery, Hon. Please do come back and post now and then. We would like to know how you are doing.
God Bless you and family!
Lv,
Jo

MP,
Thank you for all the encouraging advice earlier last year. I hope all is well with the both of you, it sounds like it is. Be careful of the ruts that you get stuck in, the speed bumps that you have to slow down for,the hills that you climb, the windy roads ahead, and all those doe's that come to close to your path.
Hopefully most of us will find our own way out soon, but if you need a re-alignment, come back and get things straightened out.
God's speed and Fairer Sea's

Miss Priss
Good luck to you and your H in your recovery...
You are at a place many of us are trying to get to, plus you have grown and learned as an individual. Perhaps that is the most valuable lesson.
My best to you...
E

I will miss your postings. Please keep in touch once in awhile.

A HUGE thanks to you Judy. Without you......where would I be?
I would still be wallowing in my self pity and wondering what the heck I was doing.
I cannot thank you enough for all the time you've spend talking to me.....helping me understand what both me and my H were going through.
When I was down about something......you were there to remind me what I was fighting for.
When I was about to call it quits.....you reminded me how it could be....if I held on ust a little longer.
I held on a little longer like you said......AND LOOK AT ME NOW!
I owe ALOT of that to you.
I can't say thank you enough.

MP,
Thank you for all the encouraging advice earlier last year.

I should be thanking you H2Y.
If it weren't for some of your advice I probably would have never had the guts to do some of the things that I did. And my H is happy about your advice too.....LOL
I hope all end up well with you. Know that you are in my thoughts often.
Thank you to all that have wished me well.....I wish the same for you.
[ March 06, 2002: Message edited by: Miss Priss ]

Dear Miss, I will greatly miss your postings and your presence on this board. You have been inspirational and at times, have helped me just to get through the "day".
I am nowhere near recovery or success but I am so much better than I was when I first joined MB. You're one of those special people that prevented me from going over the edge.
You deserve the place you find yourself. I congratulate you and hope you do come back sometimes to check in.

We'll miss you (even those of us who lurk mostly).
OTOH if I ever get to recovery, I might have better things to do than get online.
So good luck and make it a great life.
