Keep up...<p> Crisp crackling waves break over coral filled lava as we walk from the crystal foam covered shore. Scents of melons drift on honey painted sand, as the sun blankets us with its warmth. Palm leaves rustle over nests of a feather, as our pirch is on lowered humble sand. Hitchhiking sand scurries its way to the ocean, a piggyback friend of the armored little soldier. The knocking of driftwood, dragged over the universe of shell covered sand, invites the silence never to end. Crackling of embers, smolders from the fire, rise and dance in the tradewind directed breeze, directing peace in the eye of our souls. Feathers dive from the heavens above returning to the hollow cave ledged cliffs above. Turning, gazing and misting in the breeze, the rain drenched bow flys above the mountains and trees...<p>and our fantasy vacation begins... <p>Bring your shades, your coolers and your reef walking shoes, this is a place for peace and rest, an abode in our time.<p>Who will be our next journeyman(woman) and where will you take us?

Wow, H2Y!!<p>That was nice! I sit here in the middle of white waves of blowing snow that seem to be traveling about 40 MPH, from time to time I cannot see the house across the street. I didn't get enough wood hauled in so will have to run the furnance $$$$$.<p>I'm trying to remember the last time I felt warm!! Will also try and think of a good vacation, I am not the writer you are though!!

The rainbow grows dark then light as the rays of the sun are cut off and on by the clouds. <p>In the background soft strumming of the ukulele brings a relaxing melody. You can't see the musician you can only hear the melodic voice of a couple singing in duet. The words are in Hawaiian but you can understand that it is a song of love. Love of family, love of land, love of all the good things in life. <p>It warms your heart and soul. You pinch your partner just to make sure it's not just a dream. <p>Go ahead pinch 'em....... but don't tell 'em why!!! [img]images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0[/img] <p>L.

(or ballonist view)<p>A trip to the Texas Rose Festival... describing the fog around the golden gate or the redwood forests of california the outback of austraila A view from a skyscraper..(the twin towers view would be wonderful since I never have been there, sic, before the crashes) A scuba diver? A rock climber? A tourist on the nile? (is that a nice vacation?) A child at christmas... other places.. beaches deserts churches waterfalls forests gardens vietnam wall war memorial rotunda of the US capital bicycle ride through the vineyards of italy catching the breeze at check point charlie (Berlin) hehe Macy's red tag sale [img]images/icons/smile.gif" border="0[/img] (try to avoid those)<p>Come on... you all can do better than ... <p><bowing> Thanks Orchid!!!<p>why do this?? inner healing, imagination stregthens ones soul, taking an imaginary trip from insanity to purity of thought is cleansing.

Seashell : An Almost Fairy Tale One day, a lonely man was walking down a beach, deeply engrossed in his own private thoughts. He lamented the emptiness in his life, and wondered if it would ever end. While engulfed in his own musings, he noticed a beautiful seashell glistening just beyond the touch of the waves as the tide went out. He wandered over, and knelt to wash sand out of the shell in the surf. He marvelled at the delicate colouring of the shell; of its beauty and simplicity. He thought “If I had this shell, I would have a beautiful thing to look forward to each morning as I awake,” and he took the shell home and put her by his bed. As time went by the man began to look at the shell less and less. On the odd morning, when the sun shone brightly and hit the shell in just the right way her colours glistened again. But most days, she just sat by his bedside, alone as he once was; losing all the shimmer and shine that once had made her so beautiful. The shell knew she needed the touch of the ocean, the gentle touch of something or someone, to tell her she was loved. As the tides go in and out, so go the lives of us all. The poor sweet shell languishes by the man’s bedside, dreaming of her ocean home. The man dreams of the beauty he has missed, while disregarding the beauty that lies right beside him. And the ocean continues; eternal, the waves crashing against the shore, again and again.<p>Sorry if this is not what is wanted, it is just my heart.

Well Orchid,<p>If I tell you about all the beautiful things in Texas... then I'll defeat the purpose of my vacation outta here [img]images/icons/smile.gif" border="0[/img] Oh there are so many triggers.. beautiful ones at that. W and I did and have been quite a few places. Most of them beautiful and serine.<p>Okay, thinking.... [img]images/icons/grin.gif" border="0[/img] <p>There's the Riverwalk in San Antonio, the historic districts of Dallas, Houston and Austin. 600+ miles of Texas beaches (covered in Texas Tea [img]images/icons/grin.gif" border="0[/img] ), not to mention the Valley, the plains, and the hill country. There is a place in Texas like no other called McKittrick Canyon in the Guadalupe Mountains that is a beautiful display of folliage in the fall, high in the desert mountains. Kind of a hidden refuge of life. There are so many to think about, each one personal though. I'll tell ya, there are very beautiful sunsets in west Texas, and the Thunder/Tornadic storms (if your in the distance) are absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite places here in Texas is Fredricksburg, a very small german town in the hill country. Of course there isn't much about Texas that is comparitely romantic to what I think Paris is with the exception of The Riverwalk in San Antonio. Okay.. but I'm not going there..
