OK, I'll explain. There's method to my madness.
This was a knee-jerk post that jumped off my keyboard after replying to a post by Seahorse on JFO. Nothing actually took place recently to "inspire" this.
My point to her was that when you realize how outrageously stupid WS excuses can be (recall, I think, Chris's W's accusation that he never got Pepsi, only Coke (or vice versa)) then you're past the point of self doubt and we (BSs) can feel some comfort in knowing what's going on in their (WSs) heads. We can actually find some humor in their actions. Like Z, I think this is EXTREMELY theraputic and an important milestone.
BUT - when we roll our eyes and giggle outloud, it'll likely be a HUGE LB. They can't possibly understand our reaction. So we gotta try to resist the temptation. Hence, I must not giggle at my wife's stupid statements.
WAT

HI Wat,
not a good idea to giggle out loud. you have to do the head giggle instead.
The good news is as you progress thru recovery this changes. My h and I can now laugh together at some of the ridiculous things he did and said.

I laughed yesterday when I got an e-mail from my W (we're separated) accusing me of calling her 20 times a day checking up on her. Did she forget she refused to give me her address or phone number?

DOH!
Silly WAT, it's Bart, not Homer. Shows you how much I need to get a hobby. The beginning of every episode Bart writes on the chalkboard, and it is the highlight of my day!
I gotta get a life!
Anyone want to play Simpsons trivia with my son and I? Either that or Mile Bornes. Yep, story of my life. Dishes, Simpsons, card games with the kids.
Know what, now that I think about it, it isn't so bad after all. Nobody yells at us, I make dinner when I am darn good well and ready, I don't cringe when the phone rings, and I am not worried about catching an STD.
I LOVE MY NEW LIFE.
most of the time.
Elizabeth

I wasn't sure if you meant Homer the philosopher, or Homer Simpsom. Thanks for the clarification.
sad dad
