Was wondering how you were and how things are going with your husband? Any new developments?

Hi boomer. Sorry so long before a reply. I had major computer glitches.
I have seen a lawyer and we drew up a rough draft of a divorce settlement as in who gets what and visitation things. I handed a copy to my husband along with telling him he is free to get his own lawyer if he would like. He hasn't made any comment on it.
I've told my kids and my family that I'm filing for a divorce.
Even though I am feeling torn I think this is for the best. My husband doesn't want this marriage. Somehow we got on a mailing list for a medication called Zoloft. It's an antidepressant and there was a depression checklist enclosed. My husband looked at it and said well that doesn't fit me. I told him to read again because all but 1 of them fir him to a T. Until he is ready to accept and do something about this I can't see us working out. I'm just moving ahead slowly but surely and he is still with Mistress Toshiba. Thanks for your concern
Peace

I agree...he desperately needs to accept the problems, his role in your infidelity, and the (very real) possibility that he is depressed.
It's sad that he hasn't commented on your filing for divorce. More of the "bury your head in the sand and it will all be better" thinking?
Prayers for you, your husband and your kids. Feel free to write if you need someone to talk to.

Hi boomer. You are correct my husband is an ostrich. He can't hide from this one forever because I'm going ahead and filing the paperwork this week, with or without him. I know this affair was all my fault but he needs to accept some blame for the marriage disintegrating. Thanks for your prayers!
Peace,
J
