When I read through a lot of these postings they recommend reading Dr Phil, or listening to Dr Phil. Am I the only person in the world who doesn't know who you are talking about???? Jante

Hi, good for you, you mustnt watch much daytime TV.
Dr Phil has been around for years, I remember hearing about him when I was a teenager, but cared less.
More recently hes become very popular on the Oprah Show, especially on Tues, even here in Oz. Everyone talks about him...not sure the men are into him though...perhaps too challenging for their egos???
Most of his advice is good value, and stands alongside Biblical truth...MOST of it.
Dancer

Don't worry, I'm in the U.S. and I didn't really know who Dr. Phil was either. At least... I guess I'd heard of him vaguely, but it wasn't until I came to MB that I checked him out. I hardly ever bother watching TV, that's my problem. Call me "culturally deprived." I know who Phil McGraw is now, but I'm still trying to figure out what relation he is to Ali McGraw...
