I post here because we need the car up and running. We wanted to take the kids to a theme park tomorrow and can't til the car's fixed. And then H's first work week day is on Saturday. DH broke spark plug off in the engine. WE don't have the tool to get it out. We have a drill, but that's all, no special tool for it. Can we do anything with this, or do we HAVE to have the tool?

It broke below the six sided piec that you put the socket on. That metal piece is seperate from another. The remainder is at the mouth of the place where the plug goes. (sorry for my terminology.) Thank you for your reply!

I think some of those parts stores have tools you can use. Auto Zone, Napa, I don't know where you are, but maybe check the yellow pages under Auto, Parts New.
Good Luck!!

Thanks again, my H got the tools to help. It's a drill bit. You tap a hole in the ceramic, and put the bit on. It's narrow at the bottom and widens as you go up. He's got the metal core out. But, can't get the socket out? I was trying to remember what he said when he started talking about something else, and now he's gone.
Thanks again.
