I keep praying that god will rescue this marriage. The other day he told me he wasn't honest to me because he doesn't like me.When i asked what he didn't like he said he didn't know. And i asked what i could do different he said nothing.
Do you belive if your to good to someone that can be a bad thing?
i belive that any guy would want a wife who is interested in there hobbies and support them in ideas.one whos honest trustworthy.never wanta do anything to upset them.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do you think he would fill out the LB and EN questionnaires available on this site? Those would help him figure it out and give you a starting point to work from.
If he won't fill them out, you can try filling them out by trying to see yourself from your H's perspective.
And you can always work on being the person YOU want to be with the qualities and characteristics YOU value. The characteristics we value.
I am finally starting to realize that I have made a mistake this past year. I needed to change a few things about ME. And I have. But I also gave up many qualities I should not have.
My values are less than they were a year ago. I miss those characteristics about myself. I think it is time I got them back. It has not been worth it.
jd

Hi Amy,
Your H is feeding you a piece of babble. WhY? Because he has not been able to give you a reason for his 'accusation/statement'. You were correct to ask him to clarify it for you. NOw that you know he can't, maybe at a later time ask him again to clarify his statement.
My H said the same stuff, in fact he claimed to never have loved me at all. I asked then at what time did his words turn into a lie? When we dated, when he proposed, when we got married, year 1, 2, ......? He said No,no,no, no..... Hm....... now he was talking then he realized he babbled and this confused him. Why? Because the A makes them spew out this garbage.
Really how easy is it to have an A because an H is soo happy with himself, his family, his life and his W? It is not. So the 1st and easiest one to blame is the W. I learned to acknowledge the true problems that I caused but not take the blame for the junk that I did not cause. Believe me, there was more junk than acceptable blame.
So before you go beating yourself up. Step back, read his needs/her needs and work from there.
take care,
L.
