Sorry, I havent posted in awhile, but Oz pointed me to this post.Yes, I am from NJ.
We had this "conversation some time ago. Must be the water, although I, drink bottled water from Pa while at work and I have well water at home. My H (WS) drinks the local water at work where crotch cricket lives. Town seems to have an epidemic of them there
Spent many, many vacations at Seasidealthough last time there was weirded out teens with all kinds of metal implants in their heads. I prefer OC but cant bring myself to go there since H took crotch cricket there. Maybe we will be recovered enough this summer to go back.

Beautiful Colorado-- the one thing I can positively thank my WH for is finding a way for us to move here 10 years ago.

I betcha that C.C. is kind of like abusive banshee, or bimbette. Just her special name for their problem personified.

Crotch Cricket, (kroch krik'et noun, origin Cumberland County, New Jersey but now widespread)
A manipulitive species who have a annoying habit of rubbing their legs together while chirping "Poor, poor pitiful me". Contact is deadly and they easily disgiuse themselves. See also: whore, trailer trash.
Step on them all to obliterate.(they must thrive on NJ water)
