I think I already know what you all are going to tell me, but I guess I need to hear it to motivate me.
Last night, when we were where the OW works, a female employee walked by us and said "Hi babe" to either my H or his teammate, I couldn't tell which, and since I was watching her, and they weren't in that line of sight, I wasn't able to discern who responded to her, whether only one of them or both of them. Both my H and his teammate are former employees of this place.
I didn't turn and ask my H at the time because it was right before their game and I didn't want him to be able to blame me for messing up his concentration, especially if she was who I was afraid she might be (OW).
I was only able to get a quick glimpse of her because it was the "Hi babe" that made me turn my head, so I didn't really have time to compare her to my H's description of OW well enough, so who knows. I was not able to rule it out by the short glance I got, though.
But what was weird was that this happened right after we got there, which was right in the middle of a shift, and I never saw that woman again, and another one appeared to have taken her place. This place has separate parts to it that you can't see from the part I'm in, though they are connected, so if the first woman was still on shift, she could have traded stations with the one who appeared to have taken over our section for the rest of the night.
Here it is the next morning, and I still haven't asked him who that woman was. Pretty cowardly, huh?

Conqueror, I don't think it is cowardly, I'm amazed at your restraint. You did a good thing in putting his concentration needs ahead of your need to know. I think that is very considerate. In fact, that's how I would ask, "I didn't want to bug you last night because I didn't want to mess up your concentration, but who was that woman last night who called you 'babe'." (or however you could say it better). If he says, that's friend's old honey, let it drop.
Whatever he says, keep calm, and thank him for telling you.

Oh, man, I just realized I blew it! I had the PERFECT opportunity and missed it. Right before he left, my H was telling me how his friend (the teammate from last night) had been acting strange lately and his concern about it, so as we were talking about him, it would have been so easy to just casually say, "Who was that woman who said 'Hi babe' to him last night?" I could just assume she said it to his friend since I really don't know exactly who she was addressing of the two of them, and it would have fit into the conversation perfectly. Oh well.
I can probably bring it up tonight as if revisiting that conversation. I'll just be casual about it, but if he tells me it was OW, I will be holding him accountable for not protecting me by giving me a heads-up, especially if she was calling HIM "babe" in front of me. If she had stayed on that station, she would have been walking by me all night and possibly waiting on me, and him not letting me know that is like sending me into a minefield without a map.
