Dear friends, my Mom, who had brain surgery in January, and has been "hanging" in ever since, has taken a turn for the worse. I ask for your prayers, that she may find peace in the loving arms of our Lord. There is no hope for her recovery, and her quality of life since the surgery has been zero, so I simply wish her a peaceful passing. Thanks.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom, and the rest of your family and friends. It is a very traumatic experience you are going through. My Dad passed away from cancer 2 1/2 years ago, so I know the pain you are feeling. My heart goes out to you. God bless you and your family. BH

I'm going to say a special prayer for you. I am not going to worry about your mom though, she is in good hands. I know it's probably not anything that is taught or can be read in the bible, but I kind of have this idea that when people are so sick, and in terrible pain that they are already with Jesus, they may not be gone yet, but Jesus already has their soul in His hands, and is taking care of them. <p>It's hard for us, the ones who are left, to understand. But because of all the promises He made, I think this one is kind of a given. He has her, He loves her, and she is already at peace in some ways.<p>I lost a dear friend in a fire in October. I've been sad, but I have so much comfort in the fact that the kids and I now have our own special angel.<p>Sorry you have to go through this, I wish I could say or do something to make it easier for you. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. My Mom passed away this morning and I know she is now at peace. I will be flying off to the West Coast in a day or so, just figuring what to do with two small kids and a husband who is scheduled to be out of town...it's always complicated.<p>Anyway - thanks again for your kindness.

I'm so sorry. I wish I was close, I'd drop anything to help. You'll figure it out, and come through just fine.<p>Remember you have a special angel taking care of you now.<p>Elizabeth

jtw - I KNOW I have that special angel now. My Mom was giving my sister who are out there with her clear signals of her passing. She talked about trying on her wings, and well, all sorts of other amazing signals and signs. My sisters assured her we were safe, and loved and that we would still have her to watch over us. They gave her "permission" to move on. I was sorry I couldn't be there at the time, however, I did get some very very good time with my Mom prior to this, and my last words to my Mom when I saw her in February were "I love you Mom, you are the best Mom ever!" I hugged her and kissed her and she squeezed my hand. What a special memory.

How wonderful, out of all the things that could be in your mind right now, hang on to that memory. <p>I'm so glad you had that chance, so many people don't, so that really is a huge gift.<p>We got some snow last night, now I have to take a 3 hour drive, ask your mom to keep an eye on the kids and I will you?<p>Hey, if you need a quick laugh, check out an old post I dug up last night. Look under the post "Resilient,"<p>Elizabeth
