just found out my dad is in the hospital. this is the second time-symptoms are like a stroke, loses movement and function of right arm and isnt cognitive in thought. last time they couldnt determine what it was exactly and in a few days he went home from hospital. anyway it happened again, im really scared for him. he just came through a knee replacement that didnt go well and wanted to commit suicide then. he needs prayers, please.

God will give you the strength you need, for you and your Dad.<p>Nikko, maybe go over to the Prayer Request board too. They do prayer sessions I think. They can add your Dad, Hon.

This is so hard. Your dad sounds like a caring man. You LOVE him so much! I know this is hard for you. I just lost my dad in January. He was a very thoughtful man, a sincere man, and was quite know around our town. <p>With your dad trying to commit suicide, is a sign he sees himself as a man unable to do the things he used to do. My dad asked me to give him a drug to end his life. He was not happy, he was one that got up in the morning and did things all day long, after he retired. He would fix this, make this better, find something to make for someone else. A neighbor needed something for her house, my dad offered to make it and the neighbor was so happy. There is a time in life when a man considers himself useless. This is what happened to my dad. He was a great gardnerer, vegetables. He was written up in the local newspaper for his admirable garden. It was beautiful and he took great pride in producing these 'Polish tomatoes'. My dad saved the seeds everyyear, and gave them to this vegetable & flower nursery, and they would take the seeds and start the plants. Of course dad got orders from home and so he had a purporse in life.<p>When a man loses his purpose in life, this is very hard for them to see why should they live. My prayers are with you, here is a big hug

Alberta - sorry for your loss too hon, this is so hard, so difficult to try to function. Please take and know that your mom is so comfortable now. No pain, just enjoying herself, and looking after you from above. Talk to her, I do to my dad most everyday. Tell her how you love her, and will miss her, until you meet her in heaven. I am so SORRY ((((((((((((HUGGGGGS)))))))))))). I feel your pain!
