It's Friday. My daughters leave today to go live with my xw but I'm considering visiting my brother to take my mind off that.
Either way, I've got a busy weekend coming up and that's a Good Thing (tm).
Glad you got things taken care of!

Actually one of the reasons for the visit might be to pick up a new computer. He lives near a pretty nice discount store where I can buy the parts and put it together myself. I'm still thinking about it. That's about as close to a power tool as I can get and not be considered a danger to society. I prefer to think of computers as 'nice toys' but I'm not sure there would be widespread agreement on that. lol
I hope you have a good weekend too. o2bsane,
I notice in your sig you mention your XW showed signs of MLC. Can you elaborate on what the signs were? I'm curious because I'm trying to figure out if my W went through something like MLC when she had her recent one time "mistake".
Just wanted to compare MLC notes.
thanks

There were a bunch of things, really. Here are a few:

 • Sudden interest in her appearance (dieting, exercise)
 • New interests and activities (watching sports, bar-hopping, dancing)
 • Started wearing clothes like the 15-year-old girls wear these days
 • Experimented with new hairstyles, had her grey colored
 • Sudden interest in popular music
 • Suddenly hated being seen driving the mini-van, wanted a sports car

This all appeared to me to be triggered by the fact that our youngest had entered elementary school full-time. Up until then she had been the absolute epitome of motherhood. Since then the kids are more of a bother to her than a joy, and they know it.
Part of it is also the fact that she appeared to be trying desperately to turn herself into the kind of person that her OM wanted.
Hope that helps.

o2bsane,
That does help. Mine had some of the same. A sudden interest in losing weight, colored hair(blonde), false nails, lots of make-up, new clothes. She also seemed to lose interest in things she use to love. She even seemed to lose interest in our kids. She says she felt very selfish. Our youngest child had just started kindergarten and she was a few days away from 31. She was acting like a teenager breaking free from her oppresive parents. The strange thing is, after D-day, she snapped back to being the most wonderful wife on the planet. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My wife "woke up" immediately and realized what she had done (ONS). I don't know whether to call it MLC or not, but it was definitely a crisis of sorts. I've told her it was very frightening to watch. To see someone you know so well change into someone totally different and then back again over a few months. Even she is baffled.
thanks
