Just a question to throw out to everyone.....<p>I realize that I can't change my WH and can only influence him (possibly) through my own attitude and actions. I feel like I'm in apretty good place that I'm OK with him and I'm OK without him. (I would rather be with him, the real HIM)<p>Today, it hit me, maybe I've just resigned myself that this will never work. That maybe its a defense on my part, so I don't have to put my heart on the line [img]images/icons/confused.gif" border="0[/img] <p>Typically, I'm not an analytical person, but would appreciate any thoughts

dear will get through- i feel the same way. i believe they refer to it as acceptance. i have accepted the role i played, i have accepted that this happened, i have accepted that i can only change myself, not him, and i have accepted that if he doesnt start working on himself that this is not the marriage i want. i have empowered myself with knowledge and a great support team-all of you. i will make it either way.
