I'm feeling pretty darn good, so I sometimes question whether I should be coming here as often... but I know some folks are following my story, and I'm following plenty of stories myself. It's not like a TV program that's all fake - this is sure real, right??!
Anyhow, just thought I'd mention that WW is still kind of hovering in a space that seems to be both in and out of the fog. I don't think she's that good at faking an interest in me - so I do think there's some distinct signs of her coming toward me.
Then again, she also went in to work today (some time-sensitive stuff going on)... before d-day, I wouldn't have questioned her... after d-day, I've seen examples where she's used it to see OM... currently? I'm not sure, so I won't dwell on it... but trust is kind of hard to come by right now, ya know?
Her most recent quote: "I know I won't be happy unless I know you're happy."
Wow! She came up with that all on her own!
I could have said, "Well, I won't be happy unless you stop seeing OM!" But I knew that wouldn't do a thing for me. So I said something to the effect, "Hmm, we're kind of in a chicken-or-egg scenario then, 'cause I won't be happy unless YOU'RE happy!" Kind of chuckled at that.
So there are small signs of progress. So long as I'm getting that, I see no need to rush into Plan B. The pot has already been stirred violently, and the fallout has yet to be fully realized. (But I tend to think that I've utterly changed the dynamic there - the fantasy is choking on its own vomit )
Steve was SO right on this one!!

Happy Easter! I still have yet to read about plan A plan B...but would it be out of line to give wifey an easter basket or something? Maybe give her a warm fuzzy while the OM is giving her cold pricklies?

Daybreak - thanks for the encouragement... strength is something I'm finding by being happy about me as a person, not necessarily my predicament!
H4F - happy Easter to you too! We actually had a pretty good day. We didn't do much, kind of lounged around. Ordinarily, I'd expect her to consider that "boring", but today she said that she really liked it - things have been really hectic lately, so a breather was good for both of us. We stayed in pretty close contact, kept it light, no SF, but a couple of nice massages, she baked muffins , etc. She seems still quite on the fence, but again, I'm in wait-and-see mode, expecting one of the following:
- OM has stopped providing the same "fix" that he used to, now that the fantasy bubble has been popped. (I very casually got her to admit today that yes, 3-13 - her term for the day I talked to OM - weights heavily on her mind.)
- OM is on the verge or has already started pressuring her. His comment to me about wanting her to "decide quickly" makes me believe that.
- OM sees WW in a "new light", and she may be less attractive to him, too.
Any or all of the above could be occurring, and WW isn't making any fast moves to leave now. So I'm content to wait a bit.

What's that wonderful SMELL coming from the kitchen???? .... (sniff**sniff)
It might be the warm muffins ..... or.... it might be the warm recovery in the oven! Let the oven do it's magic. Everything has been prepared. The timer is set.
I think this might be a recipe for happiness and recovery!
Pepper

Pepperband, yup, I've got on my most optimistic attitude right now, even if it's hard to do... Attitude can sometimes be contagious, after all!
But... Not to build it up TOO much... she also turned down a chance to go with me on a fun work-sponsored activity, talked about how she hopes I'll "find someone who makes me feel enchanted", etc. So there's plenty of fog mixed in, but I also know that things are definitely DIFFERENT from a while ago. She's showing more interest, anyhow. It makes me 3 parts curious, 2 parts interested, and 1 part optimistic. For now... I'm also a realist!
Thanks for the encouraging words!

JR, I would say that she probly fears any feelings she does have right now and most certainly is still confused. Go have a great time at your function and if/when she asks about meeting someone, give the mysterious grin and nothing else
Pepper...so glad you're getting a wiff of that good smell...cause around here everyone tanked up on easter eggs this weekend, and the smell is not nearly so rosey. ROTFLMAO
I've already been April Foolin it around here. Told my brother in law one of our cows had triplets...it just slipped out when he walked in the door. My husband had to leave the room so he didn't ruin it by laughing. Then I changed my displayed name in my hotmail address and emailed myself a letter from Trading Spaces...then forwarded it to my sister in law. We signed up a while back and OF COURSE didn't hear anything. We're in Nebraska...and the show originates on the East Coast. Like they'd fly all the way out here, travel 4 hours from an airport and THEN drive 15 miles out in the country....to fix up our houses. LOL! If she falls for it at all I'm going to tell her I called in then and they misunderstood NE to mean New England. I have a feeling she won't fall for it though...she's been duped by us before. Naughty naughty naughty!!!!!!!!
