jdmac1, I don't have any idea what your confession might have been, but the board is open to everyone. Most of us use our experiences and our "gut feelings" to try to help one another. I have appreciated your posts, please stay.

We certainly won't pressure you to open your life up to us... that's not why we're here. But we ARE here if you need us for anything, k?
and... you deserve to be here AND to offer advice just as much as any of us do.

JD,
U know we are here to help and support. Condone wrong? Well, for myself I would say no. As a friend I would say I will help what I can. Do I have the right to condemn? No.
So given the above, I wish you would stay. Let us know what we should or shouldn't do for U.
2 err is human. 2 forgive is divine
Take Care, L.

Hey they say blind trust in anyone is wrong I guess that means blind trust in yourself too
Its not right by any means of course, but it is far from unbelieveable. I think I read a few places that us BS', despite realizing first hand the pain of an A. Are often the most vulnerable to an EA since we are reaching out hoping for our WS to come back. Unfortunately we can grab hold of someone else sometimes.
But at least you know its wrong and you know what you need to do right?
Everyone makes mistakes.... well you can at least get a little perspective about how your WW felt in her A...
Hang in there!

OK jd, here's my confession: I'm having an EA with Sandra Bullock.
Yep.
Only she doesn't know it - hasn't even answered my e-mails, but it's real I tell ya. Oh, that smile, and sense of humor! I'm in deep!
Fantasy? You bet! But what's the difference?
OK, I just ended it.
Wanna match me?
RE: the book. In progress. I have to just write first, research later. It's therapeutic, so its real worth to me is just writing it - publishng will be icing on the cake.
Dave

Hi jdmac1, Just checking in to see how you are doing. All we can do is try not to judge others in life, regardless. We end up in the exact position then we can SEE WHY and HOW people do the things they do!
You know, looking (WAY) back, that is exactly how I wound up being an OW screwing around with a MM. I remember being a very critical young Christian person. I never was outspoken about my judgments, but I remember thinking to myself, "HOW could ANYBODY commit ADULTERY?????" NOT the right thought to have regardless. My energy could have been better spent praying for people instead of wondering how and why they behaved a certain way. You know? Prayer is just safer! I definitely pray more for people nowadays & leave the questions alone!
I think this experience will help you to be more compassionate. So (call me nosy, because I DO have one question for you...) what in the world was OW's response when you tried to break it off??? What did she say that changed your mind... Faith1 is right--inquiring minds WANT TO KNOW!?!?!
