Just wanted to say I'm feeling a bit upset. I feel like H has been 'telling' me what to do the past 24hrs and the way he does it feels abrupt, confronting, non-compromising and cold. Surely theres other ways of asking someone to do something. It seems hes been telling others that I treat him like a doormat and theyve sent him off with heaps of encouragement and advice on how to make his own doormat. It could be so much easier and less hurtful if it was done with care. But I let him walk on his new doormat anyway...why fight it?
On second thoughts... Perhaps this is a response to my previous email about what he wants...no, I sent that AFTER this.
Or perhaps I should be happy that he's taking some initiative to be a man in control of his family...although somewhat dysfunctional at the moment. Maybe I need him to be like this, accept his method is not good. This might sound bizarre but I have to say that I like that hes making some choices. But I definately think his motives and method are off (this is an assumption of course). Or am I in the bargaining stage of grief?
Dancer
[ April 02, 2002: Message edited by: Dancer ]
[ April 02, 2002: Message edited by: Dancer ]

Maybe he is treating you like a doormat, but then again maybe for the sake of your marriage, you need to be more submissive. Just a thought as to speak further on the matter would require more information (and probably a Psych degree )
