I'm wondering what is meant by 'let no man (or woman) come between this couple'? Does an affair consitute breaking this vow, or is it kind of an ongoing thing? My MC gave me this to ponder, would appreciate some help. Much Thanks, BluePop

Isn't that the same vow as "let no man put asunder"? I believe that means that no man (or woman) shall break the marriage apart. "What God hath joined together, let no man put asunder".
not really a vow, though, right? Just a part of the announcement - pronouncement - declaration - (what's the word I'm looking for?) from the minister.
[ April 17, 2002: Message edited by: Faith1 ]
