Great News Today!!! My WH and I went on a road trip today, and I did not flinch every time I saw a car similar to hers!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a terrible trigger, she ruined it every time we went somewhere because when I'd see a car like hers, it would set me off. Also we met her this weekend on our weekly "date", and I didn't even see her!!!!!!!! My H did (as he was driving) and when we met her he said he just looked up at the sky. [img]images/icons/grin.gif" border="0[/img] <p>I asked him if she mentioned it today at work as she griped one time to some of his coworkers because she'd seen us in a restaurant and we didn't speak. [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0[/img] (poor baby). He said she didn't say a word today. Maybe she's finally getting the message that he does NOT want to be her friend, he doesn't even want to be cordial to her. Strictly business is now his motto, and as little of that as is possible. <p>Two questions:
1. When a trigger seems to fade, does it crop back up? <p>2. How long does it take for the OP to get over their withdrawal period? Will she ever quit chasing him? (It seems to be subsiding, but I stay nervous about it.) H has not been able to do no contact as they still work together, but he has cut all personal contact. All conversation is of a professional nature. She occasionally remarks on something else (probably to see if he'll open up) and he just answers the question, or doesn't comment. - borderline curt.
