You can read my previous posts under "llama" for my scenario -
WH has spent a TON of money - a TON since the separation 4-15-02. I've contacted an attorney but she can't see me until MOnday. He's being very hateful and blameful towards me. I've been doing a great job with Plan A until yesterday - I didn't scream, but I lost my cool.
He doesn't realize that all these mistakes he has made to be independent are backfiring on him financially and is blaming me.
He came to our house this morning to get more things and couldn't get into the garage. i still had the key in my purse and I mentioned that I'd be more comfortable at this point forward that I am home when he comes by. I don't care what he takes, but I'd rather be home. I even offered to leave work to bring him the key. He says I'M BEING CONTROLLING? He's been calling the shots about everything since D-day and I'm just being trampled over.
He continues to disrespect me by calling me to talk about financial issue while I'm at work when I've asked him nicely to call me in the evening. He wants to have casual conversation and avoid talking about issues we have - I say fine. Then when something unrelated to us happens that makes him mad (he has a bad temper) he blames me. I'm SO sick of this.
I don't know who this is. He threatened to clean out our savings account last night. I mean this is so unreal. He went off Celexa, an anti-anxiety medicine, lately and I'm really beginning to wonder if he has some chemical imbalance from his manic behavior. Then "I'm sorry" behavior.
I have to stand up for myself. Do I change the locks? I don't have keys to his apartment. I'm going to the bank today and take what money he says he will leave to get our new A/C installed, for fear if I don't - he will take it.
I called an attorney. I'm beginning to think this is a lost cause. It saddens me so to think of it. Just a month ago we were talking about getting pregnant. Our 2nd anniversary was Monday. This is so unbelievable to me.
I understand plan A, but I don't deserve the disrespect I'm receiving. I'm not sure if he'll really even look at his issues. I think he's running from him and based on his father's history, it would be nothing new.
Please help, I need some advice to protect and take care of myself. The attorney's secretary is going to try to get her to call me today. I feel so helpless, hurt and angry. He says I'm driving him further away? Oh this is such a mess.
Llama

Do a little research and find out who the best attorney in your area is for D. May not be the one you are currently contacting. Call them - the best makes a big difference.
John

OK llama - for the time being, let's concentrate on the two immediate issues: money and your home.
First, I am not an attorney, so I hope you at least get additional replys to support my suggestions, or get better ones. I suggest you take out 1/2 of all money held in joint accounts TODAY. If you have joint credit cards, call the credit card companies and find out how to cancel them from further use, apply for one in your own name, AND tell your H you're doing this.
Stick with your intuition to want to be at your house when he wants to come there.
