This week has been horrible.

1. Sister having to deal with her WH's A. Which has become a bigger trigger than I realized.

2. My FWH coming home late last night and I thought I saw a hickey on his neck this morning.

He was even shocked and headed right for the bathroom ... it's not a hickey but a discoloration of his skin.

So it is really possible that it is nothing at all, and he was late home from work because he took today off to attend a 3 day event with the boys. (he and two of the three boys are there now, they want me to go, but I don't think I'm in the mood)

I might be just seeing this all through the eyes of Roy Roger's horse. Either that or his back side. All I know is that I am just triggering all over the place.

3. I'm just days away from the first anniversary of my childhood best friend's suicide.

4. And lastly, tonight my youngest and I went to the docs to do further LD evaluation. She said that they are looking at Asperger's in addition to a few other LDs.... my head began to swim. OW#2 twins have Autism. Aspergers is just the high functioning form of Autism ... now given #1 and #2 on my list, I'm triggering all over the place.

I kept it together at the docs .. and yes she said that it is ONLY a possibility and they are looking at a few other additional LDs... but I didn't "hear" what.

All of this just has me ... well wanting to be some where and no where at the same time.

I'm just soooo --- well you know ... right now.

Way2, I like the first thread title myself. Sorry about the triggers (now I am forever going to relate that word to a horse LOL). Is there a way for you to verify your FWH's story? I think you might feel better if you knew for certain he was being truthful. MB hugs to you {{Way2}}

faithful follower -- I changed the title back just for you

Thanks for responding, I was beginning to feel all alone.

There are some people at his work that I know, that I can check with .. the problem is how to go about it. Part of my deal with him and FOW was not to spill the beans at work -- and she got to leave quietly.

Something else I forgot to mention

When I told FWH earlier this week the sis's H had an A -- his demeanor changed and became softer, I think he knew that I would be triggered.

This was part of a conversation be had in August where he said that I was still hitting him over the head with the A ... I responded that I didn't think I was ... but every time a TV show or movie came on where one of the characters has an A, I feel like I'm being constantly reminded of a painful episode in my life and the wound reopened ... which could explain why I do a lot of reading now But that could explain why he felt that he was getting hit over the head.

anyway .. the other thing is I knew OW#2, trusted her and help her get autism resources for her twins. So I'm even more reminded.
