Thanks Was Sad Tiger, it was fun calling. I'm sorry I didn't get to talk with everyone but some of you I've been talking to for ever around here, some of you I don't know. JL, yes, I called them. I would've given anything to be there in person. I still have you and WAT inked in for your visit here - the time will go so quickly if this year's anything to go by. Everything is great with H and I. It's a whole new me and a whole new marriage - where would I have been without MB. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> BTW, remember my "new" job at the university. It's now my "old" job and I've never been happier at work in my life. Jen

I gave rh and his gal a ride back 2 their hotel, stopping right in front of the guy with the white jacket and the gloves... ...in my rusty ol' 1960 VW truck! It was a hoot. After they got out, you shoulda seen just how FAST the valet guy came over 2 ask if I needed it parked! Well done, 2! Nice iconoclash!

We was only havin' som-fun ... sheesh!
I had no idea WST was gonna be there.
I arrived about 15 minutes before 4. (that's 3:45 for 2Long) ... and I had about 10 leis around my neck, as well as a sparkley tiara on my lovely smooth flat hair. I was trying to STAND OUT so as to be recognized by complete strangers! (what a concept!)
Almost immediately, a strange man comes up to me ( truthfully, he is not that strange, even tho he is from ~you know where~ ) .... and he says "Pepperband" ... and I'm thinking "Huh?" ... I am not accustomed to strangers saying to me "Pepperband" ... I was rocked backwards on my heels for a second. PLUS ... I knew he was not RedHat nor 2Long ... and as far as I knew, they were the only 2 men who were scheduled to arrive !!! here he was folks, THE AX MURDERER !!!

THE AX MURDERER then sez to me "I'm was sad tiger" ... now I am even more perplexed ... thinking 'g-r-e-a-t .... some delusional man is speaking to me because of my tiara and he imagines himself to be a sad tiger'This lasted a few seconds ... and then he said his real name and something about 'MB' and 'crashing the party' ... and then ... he got leied! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> So WST and I went in and sat down to enjoy the minor discomfort of knowing-and-not-knowing someone for the first time ... and in walks a lady that fits the description of BELIEVER ! She takes one look at me with all this foolishness I am wearing and immediately goes outside to sit on a bench alone. I stand up and stare at her through the window. She sees me and gestures to herself and then gestures to me ... and I nod ... and she comes back in. I go up to her and say "aloha" and place a lei around her neck and give each of her cheeks a Hollywood 'air kiss' and we start to talk. I say 'Are you Believer?' ... "I'm Pepperband"... she looks at me kinda funny and hugs me ... turns out ... this was pseudo-BELIEVER ... and possibly the real ax murderer <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Pseudo-B was meeting a woman about my age who she had not seen since HIGH SCHOOL ... and to her credit ... she did not run in terror when she realized a completely foolish strange woman named "pepperband" for gawds sake, had leid her and air-kissed her! ... I thought this might be the highlight for WST! LOL
