OK folks - Just sat down at the screen for the first time since yesterday, and only have read the last page. I am SO SAD that I missed the burger bust, but I am sure that now we need to have another. I will not miss it.

It was a good day with the family, however.

I will catch up on the rest of the post, (sad the whole time about missing) and try to find the pics.

DARN IT! Wish I was there.

Glad you all had fun!

Bellevue - My roommate got a big laugh out of that one - although I couldn't think of the word for streetwalker.

Ok ~~~ back to Bob's ~~~~

We sat and ate and carried on several simultaneous conversations across the table. I always have a difficult time in this sort of environment .. I cannot maintain focus with one conversation ... I try to hear and see what else is going on at the same time ... don't want to miss out on anything.

I became aware that I wanted to talk more in-depth MB stuff, but with a smart-as-a-whip 12-year-old sitting next to me ... I felt it was necessary to restrain myself.

I was wondering, FF, if you had concerns K was going to overhear some age-inappropriate stuff?

So 2Long is daintly enjoying his ice-cream dessert .... he had already eaten something before he arrived.... and I am duty-bound to report, that he did a fine job at keeping his ZZ-TOP beard clean the entire time !!!

and while 2Long is eating ... RH's cell rings, and it's Orchid, calling from Hawaii. I don't know if Orchid talked to everyone seated at the table, but I think so. All I can say is ---> HOPE YOU HAVE UNLIMITED MINUTES !

It was funny, O said she wanted to have a package sent to the restaurant with some goodies she'd sent. The pkg was delayed, unfortunately. I asked O what she'd sent ... some nuts ... and a lei I say ---> "Holy crap Orchid ! I brought leis for everyone!"

we laffed about this

Then O says "I tried to find handcuffs."

Pep thinks to herself ---> ~~O is a very sick girl ... she's going to send us handcuffs?... that's weird~~~

Then O sez, "You know, the Chinese finger handcuffs that you can't get off once you put them on."

SHUddup SHUT-UP !!!! "Orchid" I exclaimed "I brought some friggin Chinese finger puzzle handcuffs!"

Isn't that weird?

This is a very surreal experience ... breaking bread with cyber-friends, expecting the ax murderer to show up at any minute ... getting a phone call from Hawaii ....

and then

Kiwi Jen calls the table from freakin' New Zealand .... is this surreal or WHAT?

Is this a wonderful beautiful thing, or what?

I truely am stunned at the entire thing.

Kiwi Jen is perky and lively and she seemed so *right there in the room* even tho she was actually down under ... and no, not under the table.

I would have stayed longer ... but Mr. Pep called. His friend dropped off concert tickets, and did I want to go?

Well, I have vowed to be "the girl in the corvette" next to my husband .... so YES, I am going to go!

So I took off rather abruptly ... and I sincerely hope the group talked trash about me after I left ... otherwise I did not leave any impression what-so-ever!

Pictures .... well Mel, I am not sure everyone wants their actual unadorned plain face shown to the world ... so until permission has been granted, suffer gurlfriend.

Pix??? there were the groucho-nose--glasses pix

and (so far unmentioned)

Pix with the Billy-Bob teeff (coz that's how you say teeth once them teeff are in yer moutt)

there were some pix taken wiff dem teeff ... and I donno if Bellevue is gonna want THAT one shown! ... Or ZZ-Top either, for that matter.

I loved being with ALL OF YOU

THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING AX MURDERERS AND KILLING ME

Next party is at ????? Who is going to take the baton?

Pep, my DD is very sharp but innocent as well. She did not pick up on the MB lingo at all. What concerned her was she was asking about people's M's (this is a marriage building site right?) and I had to say no this one is D'ing, no this one is D'ed and has a g/f, yes this is still M'd and happy etc..

Told her the ones that are D'ing are prepping themselves for the future M's. Right now DD is totally innocent to all that happened with us. I really appreciate the restrain t with which you all conducted yourselves. I am quite impressed!

Can't say it compares to those silly Texan accents

All,

Nice to meet you 'all, it was worth flying down there ... psst I needed an excuse not to mowed my lawn . My lady Elina (not MataHari, yes, I am from Java but she isn't) had fun too. The highlight of the night was riding 2long's bug to the Hilton. You should see the bell man face ... LOL!.

Anyway, too bad we didn't meet Beleiver in person. Probably next time.

Wow, strange and scary how we think alike. LOL!!!

Leis and chinese finger traps. Perfect gifts for an MB party. If we put those finger traps on the WS, they might not get into as much trouble, eh? LOL!!!

It was a pleasure chatting with you all. RH's phone kept cutting me off so I wasn't able to finish all the calls and knew there was more interesting convos going on.

Wow, Jen called all the way from NZ? Wow!!! I venture say she's got one cute NZ accent, eh? Maybe with a Maori touch? JK.

Still want to see some pixes.

Red Hat and his Lady came in, can you imagine the kind of relationship potential for the two of them, using MB principles? They really do look like a couple.

Overflowing LB$ and overglowing Love . In God's will we might get hitch end of next year.
