I've never been on a cruise, but have heard a lot about them.
I'm thinking you're jealous cause you don't live in the Northeast!! [just kidding FR]

We can't coordinate for an evening, imagine trying to coordinate for a week.
I had emailed Harley's at one time to consider a social hour at their seminars for those of us addicted to the boards, but without spouses to work on a M.
I haven't seen anything on that, but it sounded like a good idea.

It was a marriage that never really started.

LetSTry, Maine is waaaay far away from NYC. It's about an 8 hour drive.

I can't do a cruise even for four days. I've been "self-employed" for about a year, and now finally have a real job. Anyway, finances are still tight for a while. Still, sounds like a good idea.

I live close to Philly, but a short drive to NYC (and my fiance lives there , I could probably make it whenever.

Newly, I thought you lived in PA

I am celebrating my 50th BD this year. My fiance wanted to give me a party but I said NAHHHH...you end up with a bunch of T-shirts that says Im 50..and then what?

I told him I would like to go on a cruise and anyone who wants to celebrate with me can come..I think we have about 12-15 who are interested and we are going late May, probably out of Tampa but nothing has been decided cause we are waiting for my gall bladder tests to see if and when I need surgery

So..long story short..a cruise out of Tampa may also work, well see

Ok - we will keep trying to form a larger gathering and maybe there will be several mini-gatherings as people travel or decide to meet up. Speaking of a mini-gathering, I hope to meet with Greengables & TravellinMan this Wednesday. The details are not set yet, but GG suggested coffee in the morning somewhere in the mid-town area. TM, are you in? Anyone else? We can adjust location a bit if that helps...

I find it hard to believe that you've never been asked to go on a cruise!

And I'm thinking you're jealous cause you don't live in Fl! (J/K2)

12-15 is quite a lot for one stateroom - where will the rest of us sleep?

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. Challenges can be stepping stones or stumbling blocks. It’s just a matter of how you look at them. The purpose of life is to live it, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience
