I'm sorry I've been gone...I was trying to get some clothes on. I am now fully clothed (sorry BC!)

Rin covered the sippy cup question I had, so now I can proceed to the woodchipper. Is it better to freeze first and then chip or chip an unfrozen item?

What do I do if my appendage does get caught?

Do I need to clean my chipper after each use?

As you can see, I have lost my manual, so I am looking to the experts for some sage advice.

Sincerely WDP

Put the pieces parts in the freezer and it can be tested for DTR's later.

I warned you not to expose to the chipper!!

In the season of giving, and avoiding waywards, I thought it might be nice to again revisit the gift that keeps on giving....the woodchipper.

This is one wacky thread, so if it gets going again, hang on tight.

I know how difficult it can be to do Plan A, plan B, recovery, and personal recovery, so it's always good to lighten up a bit and have some fun. Laugh and play, folks.

Can we add compound miter saw so that adding the *parts* to the woodchipper are a littel easier?

I'm looking to purchase one soon, so I can be in control of dismemberment!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

let's just say that it's my -GIFT- to you!

Do you really need a compound miter saw? Are you going to cut bevels and angle the parts? You really are putting a lot of effort into 'chipping' away.

This sure does get more complicated as the thread goes on...

Our last woodchipper thread, sadly, yes, did get locked. There was a lot of blood and gore and mauling of wayward spirits on that one. It was really an ugly scene. This thread has stuck more to the basics, a good PLAN, and adheres to the principles much better. Just don't forget to read the manual.

Thanks for bumping it, SL. Can ya link it to the Recovery Vacation Thread? (Or at least keep it visible for awhile.) No time now, but I'll re-read it later.

I'll be sure to read the manuel when I get it...AND wear eye protection! LOL

It will probably be my next major purchase...I have some trim work to do in the house but OF COURSE, I'm waiting for the property settlement to be done...

You KNOW...would HATE to ADD value to the house!! LOL

LOL...oops! I was unaware that our last one got locked!

Manuel, do you think that it says Don't use with water! Like in the shower or tub?

Rin, combining water with any chipping or mitering is just plain stooooopid, but the manual even addresses that.

Now, combining a little drink couldn't hurt. I would just remind you to wear your mesh gloves around the miter saw after a stiff drink...
