And here's the thing 'bout Southerners and snow...It ain't that we can't drive in it when it happens down there, it's just that we prefer to take the day off...DUH!!! We can't help it that you Yanks didn't figure out that really fine trick!

We take the day off in CA when it rains!

And watch "storm watch" on the news when it sprinkles!

Mrs. W. is getting on my nerves again.

And it does bring me great pleaasure to say that in a couple of months I will be a Michigan transplant to GA.

Oh the irony.

New Orleans = Red Beans and Rice...to me. Scrumptious! Oh and those little spicy meat pies...and that chicory coffee. ...and that bread pudding with the carmel bourbon sauce...oh yum!

I hate it when parents who are caring for children have their lives ripped apart. I hate that this wonderful, valuable time is robbed from them and turned into pain, instead of the joy that it was meant to be, and the safe, joyful haven it is supposed to be for their kids. I HATE THAT.

I hate the years I lost with my daughter. I hate the pain I brought into our lives. I can never get those years back...when she was 6 until she was about 11.

My biggest regret... unmeasurable loss.

How can you make someone see though. Some just can't see through their own pain and rejection. Another beauty of Plan B... refocusing on the remaining family and self.

I hate when parents actually USE their own children to further their dispicable causes. It takes a special kind of monster to use their kids as weapons...hurting the kids most of all.

That is so true. I have no qualms about telling a parent to STOP the drama and to focus on what they children need of them. If you have no children and you want to embroil yourself in the drama, have at her.

They have NO business doing it to the kids. I work in a school district and I see it more times that I want to.

I am glad that you posted that Josie. Too many people don't even take notice of the kids. That is sad.

I hate...

Going to a funeral of a friend's husband, and the OW (who has an OC with said dead guy) is sitting in the row in front of me sobbing the whole way through. Oh, and that my friends kids were over hugging on OW. Criminy. I wanted to leap the chairs and kick her [censored] myself!

I hate....

that somehow my friend (who is less than 30 yo) accepts this whole mess (there are actually 2 OW and 2 OC) and trys to play normal, just to keep this guy in her life. He was the ripe old age of 26 when he died of a drug overdose at his girlfriends house. This was a surprise to my friend who said he had been living with her again the last month as they again attempted to reconcile, and she put the divorce on hold during this attempt. He has 3 kids with his wife (10, 7, 5) and 2 OC.

Only good I can see is that she will now get SS for the kids. She's been doing it all on her own for so long she deserves the money to help the kids.

I hate the pain here but love the support and kindness.

I hate how a 46-year old adulteress believes it is okay to impose herself on another woman’s 3-year old son’s life as if she has something good or positive to bring to him. The same woman who has for all intents and purposes has abandoned the life of her own 20-year old daughter.

I also hate changing tires in a snowstorm (I have done that twice this winter, once with a suit on. Bummer.).

Oh yeah, I hate camel faced, lop eared, jug headed, bug eating referees who don’t understand what constitutes traveling in basketball but are still enthusiastically willing to use this lack of knowledge to decide the results of games in the last 30-seconds! Ummm……guess what happened in my game on Saturday?

Testosterone boys! Testosterone! It ain’t just for nose, ear and back hair anymore!
