I got this from my Mom, I thought it applies to much of what we discuss here.

CHEROKEE WISDOM
An old Cherokee is telling his grandson about a fight that is going on inside himself. He said it is between 2 wolves.

One is evil: Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other is good: Joy peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one I feed."

It makes a lot of sense to me.

Thanks for sharing ... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> . I still keep my other wolf alive by feeding it with my anger & my resentment <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="images/icons/blush.gif" /> but I put it in the cage <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> LOL! .-rh-

The one called "Budda" taught the same thing 2500 years ago. "The seeds we water are the ones that grow." (Paraphrased)
Could be why Paul taught,
"Whatsoever thing are True, whatever things are Just, whatever things are worthy of Praise, whatever things are lovely, whatever is of Good Report, if there be any Virtue think on these things"

Thanks, Still Seeking,

I'm going to show this to my FWH, who is also a sex addict. I think it tells him all he needs to know. Great allegory!

Thanks,
my move
