To be honest I didn't think anything was wrong. My M was not in a good place. I was pretty sure that my wife was having an A. My W was encouraging me to go out more. So I did. It was only after I found MB that I even knew that EA's existed. I really thought that it was ok. I even started to think that if it did become physical it would still be ok.

quote:
When did you realize you crossed the line?

When I started to want more than just an EA, and I began to really wonder what that would do to my M.

quote:
When, if ever, did you begin to realize the magnitude of the pain you caused your BS or the damage done to your marriage?

On D-Day. When I saw the pain on her face, and when I felt the pain in my heart about her A.

quote:
How did you feel when you realized this?

Like doggie doo. It's been months since it was over and I still feel the same when I sit down and think about it.

quote:
How did you justify it, lie about it or cover it up?

I never lied about it, and I never covered it up. I told my W every time I went out. That was my justification. Since I told her what I was doing and since she wasn't getting mad. It must have been ok right? Wrong.
I don't know if this helped you or not. I know that every one is different. I'm curious myself what other WS's have to say about thier EA.
Feeling Lost
[ June 05, 2002: Message edited by: FeelingLost ]
