Tonight H and I took our 2 girls to a Police run disco that we run in our town. I've been dreading it because OW volunteers at the event and even though others told her the right thing to do would be to stay away I knew she would go.

Well I was right, she was there but didnt really have a job to do so she just wandered around most of the time. I did myself up pretty well (if i'm allowed to say so myself) Lost heaps of weight on the "infidelity diet". H even commented I looked a million dollars. During the night I got comments from 6 people how great I looked, and two others on what a great hair style I had. So the night was going really well. Then.... H came up to me (while OW was watching) gave me a passionate kiss and loudly said "I love you so much".

I'm on cloud nine, I didnt LB all night even though I have a history of losing it whenever OW is in my face (which is almost daily at the moment)

I have not felt this great since D-Day 3 months ago, I dont want it to end......

Just had to share this with all you great people who have helped me get this far. Thanks. The future is looking brighter every day.

I do know what you mean, though. I lost almost 40 pounds in 9 weeks. Have to say it looks good off, but I'd have prefered a different diet, I think. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Congrats on the great night out!

Robyn,
Just wanted to say how happy I am for you! I wish the "infidelity diet" had worked for me... I am an emotional eater...so I GAINED weight!! Trust me...I didn't need it! Good for you Robyn! You should be VERY proud of yourself!

I am usually a comfort eater too. But I found that with a little more (maybe a lot more!) stress than usual I actually lost my appetite. Now I just have to keep the weight off by reminding myself that without going through another D-day it would be so hard to drop the extra weight.

I still cant believe last night went so well. Usually OW is the one parading around to stir me up and this time she really had her tail between her legs. (not because she feels guilty though, because she has actually said to people that she has done nothing wrong and has nothing to be ashamed of!)

Yes, I have been on the Infidelity diet too I will have to remeber that name next time someone asks me (happens daily) what I did to lose all the weight. What a great story. Hats off to you. Not for the weight loss but for the positive self-esteem.
