Second post !! .Read that there is a group in Houston . My I intrude on one of your outings -maybe lunch . Would love to know some more BS -my friends are awesome but can't really know what I'm in the middle of !! Hope to hear from ya'll

We just had the Houston MB Lunch yesterday, so likely another won't happen until next month. It'll be posted though, so you'll see it.

So...kh...what's your story?

My story -will try to give you condensed version !
M for 14 yrs. DDay 3/02 .OW moved in with H in April but of course he told me the S had nothing to do with her . We are just starting Mediation -he filed in Aril .They are already planning a Dec. wedding. Hard to think the D stuff will be done by nov.( 30 day waiting after D) They already have bridal registry !! He doesn't have a clue I know of their lovely plans .We have DD and DS (12&13) they don't know about wedding either and will flip - they have met OW once and trust me it hasn't happened again .The kids know about the lies -not from me but from H -he really is an idiot !! This wk. I realize I'm going to be just fine . Sure I'll have some more rollercoaster days but they are fewer and farther between .
Hate I missed the lunch -how many get together and how long have you known each other. One last question -where in the healing process are you all ?? Thanks for responding .

Some have been around for a year or more, most of us are fairly "new" (<6 months). Really we don't "know each other" too well, except maybe for a couple of people, and we try to keep this pretty "professional" since we're all "vulnerable".
As for where we are in the "healing" process, well, there's everything! Many of us are not "healing" yet, several "new" people in Plan A, a few in Plan B, and a couple in Recovery. Some separated, others still together...I guess the whole range!

I'm sure others will check in later and have more to tell!

Hello fellow houstonian- kh! We should definitely have a sept. lunch and maybe should start planning for month end...

I am seperated and not doing too well in my plan... which should be plan b at this pt. I keep wanting counseling and the like and my spouse refuses... although the growing distance is making him question things... ab it .. but he is very angry and blaming of me... he haxd one office ow, then came the clinher since he is alcoholic as well.. the maid... and he is a guitar player so now he hangs with other women and plays guitar... or whatever????? ok, sure. he does not support our kids, and makes custody threats to me every chance he gets.
