MB friends - If you wish to send a message to Sudz please do so here and I will print them for her and take them to her. It may be a week before I get over there again. Sudz is such a special person. She has helped so many people on this forum through her own journey of recovery and healing. Her recovery now is physical, and I know all our thoughts and wishes will help! Thanks!

Sudz,
Good morning to you! I'm so glad to hear that you are on your way to recovery. I've been thinking about you and praying for you. I know that you have a good support system. You are strong and I am confident that you will recover. I'll be praying for you and your family during this time. Sudz-I'm looking forward to your return to the board to share your new "recovery" story! I wish you only the best.

Hi Sudz!
I've been thinking about you, and saying some prayers too, and just want you to know that I think you're a VERY SPECIAL woman!
I'm still praying for a miracle so that you can have 100% recovery. Hey, God's in the fixin' biz!
In the meantime, your strength is an inspiration... I know, you don't feel that way, but sorry, it is!!
Hugs, and look forward to more emails with you and the gang soon!!
Much love,

Hi, Sudz! I'm sorry you've had such a time of it, but am so glad you're doing better!
A long time ago, the grandmother of one of my daycare kids had the same problem as you did. She had surgery and was not expected to live. She spent many weeks in intensive care, but grew stronger, and despite minor short-term memory problems, went on to have a long and fulfilling life. She figured out how to overcome her short-term memory problems by putting a big dry-erase board on the wall and writing down things she needed to remember for each day. After a while, she didn't need it so much, and was able to resume getting out and about on her own.
Hang in there, Sudz! If this older woman can overcome an aneurysm (sp?), then you can, too!
Love, Lady Clueless, aka Still kickin' aka Sweetpea.

My friend Sudz,
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you And give you peace.”

BUMP!! I haven't made it yet to see Sudz - I've just started a new contract, worked nine days in a row, and have had sick kids...BUT...GUESS WHO CALLED ME TONIGHT!! SUDZ! Your prayers are working!
Okay - so - she had more surgery - had to put part of her skull back in place...but she is sounding like HERSELF! Still lots of physical rehab to go. She tries to get on the computers at the hospital, but not able to write anything yet (still retraining left and right and all that). BUT -I'm sure she will be on at some point soon to actually read this!
Anyway - a long long road ahead, but she has so much tenacity ! We both agreed that she just isn't done on this earth yet - that there is more for her to do - cause she's still here! YAY!!!
