What does flirting sound like....look like? I have my own ideas, would like to know what the rest of you think. At what point do you see that "warning flag" signaling you that someone is flirting with you or your spouse and what do you do about it?

Bells and whistles ring in your head. My husband is very touchy feely and I can handle that. The OW openly flirted with my WH earlier this summer and in the back of my mind bells and whistles rang. I needed to turn up the volume!

Flirting--prolonged eye contact, smiling, more facial expressions, body proximity, possibly light hand to arm contact, leaning forward, tone of voice smooth, light. Flirting draws attention to oneself, flatters the other.

There's a difference between friendly and flirting, though thin at times. Flirting has a "come-n-get me" undertone.

I own a retail shop, when a man turns chatty, if I am not behind the counter, I go there to put distance between us.

I recently had a booze-smelling customer tell me he'd been looking for a woman like me all his life.
I said, "I'm married."
He said, "Is he good to you."
I said, "Yes, very."
He said, "You come see me if he isn't."
I said "It's time for you to leave the store."
He said, "I'm not doing anything wrong."
I said, "You are making me uncomfortable and I want you to leave. Now."

According to my husband, if you work with the woman there's no such thing as flirting. It doesn't exist. Everything short of actual sex is just normal business behavior.
