Ok, this takes the cake...... I saw an advertisement (scumbag spam junk - double YUCK!)

One of those adult sites sent an advertisement with pixs of 2 people, 1 guy with his name and city/state and the other a housewife with her name city and state. Separate testimonials about how this site allows them to have s3x apart from their spouses. Can U believe it?

Anyway, the killer is the housewife says that her H meets her financial and emotional needs but her s3xual needs are met by men that she invites (via this advertised web site) for s3x . Now guess what STATE she lives in?????

See what trash visiting porn sites can bring into your home? I am sooo mad at H because this stuff doesn't go away (even though he stopped doing this over 1 year ago). YUCK!

Orchid sweetie ~ I get porn email too, and I don't visit that stuff. I don't think you can blame it all on your H. I know that there was about 6 months that I was afraid to open my email with my kids around because of the graphic porn sent to me. It seems to go in cycles.

I still get alot of adult emails - there's no way to stop it. I have found that keeping my rules updated in MS Outlook and using a nifty little piece of software called SpamWeasel takes care of probably 90% of it.

I get probably 150 emails a day. Maybe 3 or 4 are actually real email <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Unfortunately spam is an incredibly effective marketing tool. I do consulting for a company that literally makes millions in sales off of mostly spam. And it's a legitimate company, not a porn palace! And sadly I've seen statistics that say that the porn industry is the largest and makes the most money of anything on else on the net. So I sincerely doubt that it will go away any time soon! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Once your email address has been sold even once, you might as well forget having "clean" email sent to that address.

And isn't it just sick that adultry is becoming a money making industry??? Makes me want to lose my breakfast right here at my keyboard...

Just a tip for all who are getting the porn and junk mail! Go to privacy settings, or mail controls, list only those people you wish to get mail from. The rest will not come through. Just remember, if you make a friend here and wish to have email contact, go add them on your allow list. I finally did this and now I don't have to weed through mail I don't want!
when my mail is open to all, I get tons of junk and porn. So do all my family members and none of us have ever visited those sites or ask for them. LouLou
