For any BS that’s read “After the Affair” how did it help? My wife has come to the conclusion, after only eight weeks and without the benefit of this site, professional help or any books that she does not love me and wont again and we should take the next step. She has agreed to read ATA to see what impact it has or changes her mind. Can she possibly get the benefits from the book reading it with this mind set?

I think the benefit to reading ATA is that all those feelings that she's the only one who's ever felt this--out of love with spouse and that it can't work--way are clearly shown to be a common occurance, and many couples do indeed recover those "in love" feelings.
My H & I are among them. He tells me daily that I am wonderful, he's in love with me, he's happy. I feel the same way about him...and I was the one who served the D papers after an 18 month Plan A, 7 separations and not being able to stand his behavior.
It may not change her attitude immediately, but I think it is a very well done book, one in my top 5 dealing-with-infidelity resources.

Is it really time for "After the Affair?"
Is it "after" yet? Are you sure?
If you're not sure and she'swilling to read, I suggest Surviving An Affair by Harley. It deals more with affairs that are in progress. It would be good for you, as well.
