I called and talked to my XW at her work for a little bit today. I'm on business in a place where she used live before I met her. I was curious if she had liked it here or not.

By the OM's insistence she is not to have any contact with me whatsoever. She told me he looked at her cell phone bill and saw she called my number. She said she got her [censored] chewed and had to change her cell phone number.

She talked about some things going on in her life. Don't know what to believe or not. She made the following statements and I was curious what your experiences could tell about them:

She says she works, goes home (OM's), sleeps and some times she works late.

She says she is taking things one day at a time.

She says the better she does for herself the harder it gets.

She's been living with the OM for 9 months now and they leave for a ski trip in a week.

I'm in a new R that is going great. I don't talk to her about it good or bad. I guess that is an indicator of how good my R is. I don't feel the need to tell her or anyone else that it is good. I just know it for myself and that is all that matters.

My gut tells me there is trouble in paradise.

Yep, sounds like your X is realizing that the grass really wasn't greener.... Also appears that she's trying to re-connect with you as well despite the OM's threats...

Glad to hear that things are working out for you!

Wait a minute, MOWL!

You say her H (or is he just her BF) is demanding she not contact YOU? This would be reasonable if it weren't for the fact that her kids live with you. But, she and you need to work this out with him. Your xW can't very well be lying to her SO about ongoing contact with her X. That's not fair to him, either.

Take care,

I don't know your story, but you say life is going well with GF - so why are you so interested in XW? Do you still want her?

Seriously, I don't mean to be difficult, but just wonder what you questions are about.....

My XW is not married to the OM. He was my best friend and they live across the street.

I do love my XW and always will, but I don't want the roller coaster that was our life. I have a simpler, happier and more fulfilling life now.

To me my XW is family and I do care about her and want the best for her, but not at my own expense. She has BPD and other issues which are not being addressed. I hope to be able to point her in the right direction when the time comes.

I just got back from a business trip which gave me some much needed time away and alone. I came back to the right woman for me :-)
