Okay you guys, the plot keeps getting thicker. I am not making this up. Need some help! H and I are in Plan B. My Father in Law (H's Step father) passed away this morning. Funeral is in South Carolina (I'm in Minnesota). I loved my FIL so much and am so close to MIL that clearly the right thing to do is go to the funeral. H called to tell me the news this morning. He's also okay with my going to the funeral.
What kind of role do I play with H and with the rest of his family on Thursday? My pastor advised me to think alot in advance about this because it could be an extremely emotionally vunerable time. I don't want to do any LB's and I don't want to violate Plan B any more than I have to. And I don't want to cave into him since he's still in contact with OW. We're staying at his mother's house (separate rooms - she knows the whole story and is on my side).
Ideas?

This questions been on the board before, and the right thing to do is to GO, and behave as much like a wife as your husband will allow!
I am glad you will go and he agrees.
God Bless, and my sympathy to your family.
TNT

My condolences.
I agree, GO and be as supportative as you can be. Do not get drawn into conversations about you and your H. My prayers are with you and your family.
