Last night after I was laying down to go to sleep for the night the phone rang and it was my husband. He said things are getting really bad (at his gf's house) and he would call back in a couple of minutes. He called back and said I am sneaking out the back door and running to come pick him up. I didn't ask any questions he just told me she has been acting really weird the past couple of days. He said I'm not going to let anyone know where I am for the next 48 hours and then make my grand appearance. And I asked him what that meant and he said to get my life back and be in the real world. So I don't know if that means being with my and the kids or what. He has been avoiding his friends and family for 2 1/2 months since living with her. I just hope and pray he comes home for good. And it is our 14th wedding anniversary today.

So you picked him up? Is he home?
Sit back and play it COOL...do not act overly anxious to have him home...
Plan A, Plan A, Plan A
Be nice, but keep your distance...see what happens after 48 hours...
The real part of me wants you to say "NO, you are not bouncing back in here just because she is acting weird!" Then he is going to make a grand appearance????
You make a decision and when you have made it and your affair if over, then we will talk. [ March 04, 2003, 07:21 AM: Message edited by: Susan ]

Goldie,
I hope that if you are saying that he is at your home now that you are setting and maintaining boundaries...that protect you and the children.
I advise that if she calls and asks you if he is there...you don't lie for him....regardless of his threats
I advise that if she shows up on your doorstep...you do not let her in...and if she persists even slightly...you call the police...
I would advise you that even if your husband wants to come home he must agree to and set up counseling for you and him this week....and must go to counseling....
I wish you wouldn't have picked him up....quit saving the butt of someone who abandons you and his children...
set boundaries and protect yourself heavily from his game playing....the revolving door can affect the children and cause them much confusion....
strong steady, in control Goldie... time to stop the chaos... ARK

She already called 3x's asking if he was here. I didn't give her a straight answer, but I know she knows he is here. I now have the phone off the hook, and if she does show up I will call the police. And no I am not getting my hopes up. Last night before I went to sleep I prayed to God that everything would get straightened out and my H would come home to be a H and father and 10 minutes later the phone rang and it was him.

Goldie, I agree with what ark said. Set you limits, stay strong and don't get your hopes up.

She did show up at the house yesterday morning yelling a screaming and banging on the door, and walking around the house trying to open other doors. I eventually had to call the cops, and she told the cops the only thing she wanted was her keys to her car and house. They told her she couldn't come near the house anymore. I know the only thing she wanted was to see if my H was here, she said she wanted to look into the whites of his eyes and she kept on telling me I won and she lost. My H and I had a nice anniversary, we got a hotel room with a jaccuzzi and then had breakfast and spent the day at home and now relaxing and watching TV with the kids. I know it might not be permanent, but at least right now it is hopeful and I am praying that we can try to be a family again. The kids are even glad I think, our younger son walked in the TV room and looked at my H and me and smiled.

Would it be too much to ask him to break up with his girlfriend and tell her he has gone back to his family? That might be a nice gesture.

Great job goldie.
I can even hear the late Fredy Mercury (from Queen) singing 'Another One Bites The Dust' in the background.

The only thing is his truck is still there, because she fell asleep in his truck on Monday night. Sunday night my H said she jumped out of his truck when they were up in no mans land and jumped into a creek to try to freeze to death and he got her and a couple more times she managed to get out of his truck and then Monday night he said she stole his gun, but he took the clip out earlier and she clicked the gun to her head and tried to kill herself that way.

goldie, time for this woman to be reported to the police. They can accompany H to get his truck and the stolen gun. Stealing a gun is a felony! Plus report her behavior as suicidal and they'll take her in for 72 hour evaluation. She should be evlauated! She is not only a danger to herself, but you and family as well. Get the gun now! I hope he has it registered in his name? Take police for protection to retrieve these items!NOW God bless, LouLou

He got his gun back that same night, because she passed out in his truck and then went into her house to call me and tell me things were getting really bad there and for me to go get him.
