Tomorrow is our 5 year anniversary. We should be in Cancun right now but instead are separated and at work.

I'm working on Plan A (started 2 weeks ago) but I haven't had much contact with him. I've seen him once and emailed him twice. I'm just focusing on ME for now and trying to get my own place to live (currently with parents).

Should I contact him tomorrow to say hello or perhaps wish him a Happy Anniversary? It feels weird since he's still in the Fog and doesn't want anything to do with me. He's been having problems with OW and I just KNOW that relationship won't last. He's broken up with her several times. The first time it happened, OW told him she wanted nothing to do with him 'cause he had nothing to offer her. She's a single mother living with her parents. Perhaps about 23 years old. (D is 4 years) Anyways, should I contact him at all? or should I just let it be. I wish he'd call me but I know that won't happen. Any suggestions? or perhaps someone can share what they did on their anniversary while separated. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Well hopeful98, I really don't know how things are with you and your WH. Are you on speaking terms? Does he call you? If he doesn't speak to you or doesn't call you I think maybe you should just let it be. I'm sorry to say it but if he's not wanting to talk to you, I don't think he'll want to hear you say, "Happy Anniversary!". You know what I mean?

But mybe he'll call you. You never know! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Dear Hopeful:

I'm so sorry you are going through this on your 5th anniversary! (((((HUGS))))))

My suggestion would be to send him a card to say you are thinking of him. Maybe no gift. If it's going downhill with OW then a card might sink in a little. JMHO.

For you, OTOH, please do something special for yourself tomorrow (after all, it's Saturday!). Get your hair done, buy something new, get a manicure. Do something special to make yourself feel good. Take care of YOU!
