I need a MC and not sure which I should get. I think I would be more comfortable with a female but if I can get my husband to one I think he would take what the male says more seriously. Just wanted other womens opinion from you who have had both sexes and which ones did you prefer. I plan to go myself first. My husband still denies any affair so sort of dead end there but if I can get him to go to MC with me eventually maybe he will stop denying. Thanks

I think it depends on who you are. I seem to relate to men much better because I have a low tolerance for feeling based thinking or sentimentalism that I experienced with some female counselors. I also noticed that my H related much better to a man. But again, it really depends on your own personalities, IMO.

CF, but I wonder why you think he would admit it to a counselor if he won't admit it to you, someone he knows? That seems extremely unrealistic to me.

Melody, I am hoping when faced with going to a MC he will not want to go through all that and will finally tell me the truth. He would rather have teeth pulled Im sure than go BUT he knows he would have to and would go if I asked him. He always says, how can they help? Don't know, thats their job I tell him. He would hate going I assure you. Just hoping the threat will work. Thanks
