I am curious as to stories regarding A that started as great friends and progressed to an inappropriate online A and although no in person physical contact, much talk of...is anyone willing to share such struggles and how they have survived, gotten out, moved on???
In such a situation and know the right thing to do...but just searching for similar struggles and successes or failures...anything that can help me get on and stay on track...

struggling to do right you might want to look for Sincere1 and Suzett over at the Infidelity Recovery Forum. Both were involved in EA's (no PA) and they can give you their insights as to what it took for them to overcome their withdrawls from their OM's.
