Hi all,

Thanks to those who responded to my previous post inquiring about details regarding child sponsorship programs.

FYI: I have sponsored a child thru Compassion International. A five year old girl from Bolivia who is just a doll, with the cutest smile.

It's my Christmas present to me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Thanks again for your input...

Merry Christmas and Peace to all...

That is awesome Elad!

I actually just signed up to sponsor a child through Compassion International myself.

I went to a Jars of Clay/Caedmon's call concert and they promoted the ministry during the concert.

I can't wait to get to write back and forth with my child.

Eduard...

Good for you and good for another child...

I, too, am looking forward to learning more about my sponsered child and about her family.

Best to you and yours in 2004.

Hi Elad,

I don't know anything about sponsoring a child but I just wanted to ask you if you heard anything from USH. I was just wondering how she is doing. Hope u find a way to contact me.

Hi d#1234

I had an e-mail from USH Wednesday, 12/31....she had received her divorce decree in the mail the day before.

She said she wasn't as torn up as she thought she might have been...a lot of that sadness had already been played out I guess.

She was leaving for a few days of skiing in the mountains with some friends on New Year's Day.

She seems to be doing OK, at least as best you can under the circumstances....

Sad, naturally, but looking forward to moving on.

She is a very good person and very strong and I really think she will be OK.

Best regards

E

I'm glad to hear that. I hope you also will be ok. Thanks for replying. Can you just tell her I said hello and hope that she has a happy new year.
