I don't use an e-mail where I get trash e-mail or even SPAM so I need to ask those of you who do....

Have you ever received an e-mail asking you to check out teenagers????

My WH just did -- received 2 of them.

He has gotten wise and no longer uses home computer.

He uses the Yahoo free e-mail. He no longer checks his e-mail from home either.

Every once in a while I go check it and he had those 2 e-mails in his bulk e-mail box which I know is where SPAM stuff usually goes BUT do people really SPAM teenage porn around??? That is so disgusting!

In the past both my wife and I have received emails to check out "teens." That's not to say that he didn't go somewhere and give them his email though.

Before you throw around the term "child" I would make sure that you are absolutely positive. See if the email is addressed specifically to him. Sometimes spamers will change the subject lines to a bunch of random letters so that your spam filters can't catch it.

I get a lot of SPAM with subjects like teenage porn, hot lesbian sex, viagra, and penis enlargement. As a heterosexual woman, I can honestly say that I have not been checking this stuff out, but the SPAM email harvesters have MANY ways to get your address and show no scruples about using it.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. But you did say, "He has gotten wise and no longer uses home computer." Does this mean he has email accounts that you can't access? This is a bigger alarm for me than the SPAM.

I didn't even click on those e-mails -- I don't even want to see teenagers being exploited like that! I have put a child filter on the home computer anyway so it wouldn't have pulled up the pictures. I did this a couple of weeks ago to see if he would notice BUT he can access from work.

I know when he does get on the internet now, he does so from work. I don't know if they have software on there to block him from things -- they do at my work.

The only reason why I think he is either a) using another e-mail or b) accessing his e-mail from work is because he doesn't use the one he was using much any more at all -- a marked decrease in his normal activities. I'll go in there about once a week and I'll know he has been there because I'll send an e-mail to him once a week and he will have looked at it BUT he is not sending any e-mail from there any more.

Of course, it could be total paranoia on my part.

Someone should arrest those people who send out SPAM w/teenagers in them -- if that is what they really are -- I wouldn't know. It's just not right.

Yeah, I've gotten them. Lots of them. "Barely Legal" and other such crap. The worst are the ones that come with images. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
