Go to the In Recovery forum and check for posts by Roberta61 and OnlyUCan (I think those are the posters I'm thinking of). This has been a topic discussed quite often of late and I think you can find some helpful information there.

mickey intimacy problems are normally related to some form sexual issues during someone's formative years. It can entail gender confusion, sexual abuse and or rape among other things.
The impact of those traumatic early experiences manifests itself in their relationships with the other sex and with intimacy.
Recovery is the best board for that. Also it would help if you told more of your story so we know more about what you are going thru.
