Well WH called me today at work to discuss finances. He is giving me part of his retirement bonus. What a surprise!

Then I told him I will be getting a roommate this weekend. Here is how the conversation went:

H: You can't get a roommate. That is my room.

Me: I'm paying the house payment, and I need the extra money.

H: But I plan to get back together with you.

Me: You've been saying that since last July.

H: But I love you and want my marriage back. As soon as you get back from Seattle, we are going to sit down and talk this out.

Me: Hon, I will not be talking with you until OW is out of the picture.

H: I know, you've told me that before. I see you really mean it.

Me: Have a good day, I have to get back to work.

H: Goodbye, I love you.

I hope I am as strong as you in my Plan B. Any suggestions?

All I can say is that this board has really helped me. I started out so lost and miserable. But I have completely changed. I am ready to go on without WH, and hopeful about the future.

He is still deeply in the fog. I think he will be saying he has gotten rid of OW until we are in our 80's.

I feel good. I fought the good fight. I took the higher road, thanks to everyone here. Believe me, that is not my nature.

My only suggestion is what star says. When you come here, don't expect change, expect to change.

Ark asked you a good question. I want to take the children to fishing, but I can't handle worms.

ark - Yep, we will be fishing again. We use redworms. Catch lots of fish.

My roommate is moving in Sunday. Then Tuesday my sons and I are flying to Seattle to see my parents. I can hardly wait.

Ark, you are too funny. Believer's package is easy to handle. Just have a tent in the front yard.

I just thought of a way to handle the worms, I will bring a pair of chopsticks.

ark - I'm not afraid of worms. I can hook them, bite off their heads, or eat them. I raised my boys by myself. I decided to teach them to fish.
At first I spent all the time untangling lines, baiting the hook, etc.

But my boys now love to fish, and it is something we have in common. They even love me to come with them.

And I no longer dread the package on the porch. I have made my peace with WH.

I also like worms...
the kind you fish with...
and somewhere I remember one or two floating in a bottle of tequilia.....

we would spend summers fishing...
putting pieces of shot in our hair...like beads..

OH believer...don't misunderstand me...I KNOW you can handle the bait all day...it's the one you have to deal with once you put the tackle up..

can't wait till my three are old enough to fish..

ark - I can handle the other one too. I love him and will not hurt him, but he does not define my life anymore.

I started teaching my boys to fish very early, like when they were 2 and 5. I knew that I could not make up for dad being gone. I hate football, and could not figure out MALE things to do. So I picked fishing. Lots of work at first, but so worth it.

I love to eat fish, but WH loves fishing. He doesn't like to eat them.

He always blame me for D not like to eat meat. SO this morning he told me that D doesn't like fish and it is from..., then stopped.

I will go night-night now. I have to get up early teaching tomorrow. It is thundering and poring here. I will have a good night sleep with half of a Xenax.

lostnhurt - Good morning. This is the first day of my 2 week vacation. I'm going to live it up and have fun.

When I'm off work, I love to get up in the middle of the night, then go back to bed and sleep in late. And with no WH here, I can do whatever I want.

Hope you have a great day.

Hi Believer,

I hope you have a restful and peaceful vacation.

You are definitely Queen of Plan B.You breeze in and out while maintaining it's integrity and have even mastered babbling back! You are awesome!
