I have actually just spoken on the phone with Rob. He is very pleased he received that call from MelodyLane. Stop shooting the messenger people.

In addition.... did you happen to see where KIWIJ said that SHE was glad ML exposed? Did you happen to catch the gratitude of her H? Did you happen to catch that KJ was in trouble? No, Grace... ML was being a friend. I have friends on this site that I do not consider strangers. Just because I have not shook their hand or looked into their eyes... they are still friends... and that is how ML felt. So, drop it already.

What I would have given to have had someone let me know of renewed contact or to have been told about the A to begin with, instead of the months of knowing something was wrong or thinking I was crazy.... I believe the truth is always better than living a lie....but, hey, maybe that is just me.

Mel - I just now caught up on this thread. I saw Jen's thread stating this was an old one, so I didn't even bother to look in. Wow, I can honestly say that I probably wouldn't have done what you did. I wouldn't have had the courage, or have been willing to take the risk, or had enough of whatever it was that resulted in your call to Rob. Frankly, as one of Jen's friends...I am relieved. I could see how frightened she was. Mel was a good friend to Jen in all of this. She did the right thing.

I'm agreeing with Pep and Susan on this. I have strong hunch some of Jen's 'friends' knew how to contact Rob, but they didn't do it. I do not believe any of us had anyway to contact her. We talked about it off board, nobody knows her personal info. I'm guessing any voice from I'ville will not be listened to for a quite awhile, if ever, that's ashame, we are good people. Also the off board group we have, it's programmed to go to the entire group every time every email. Nobody sends private emails to the opposite sex that I know of. It's a group thing. It's full of married couples and a few with just one spouse, but the other spouse has full awareness and access to this email. Our boundaries have been questioned on many threads, now it seems we are being questioned again, but this time for not sharing enough personal info. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> KY <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I know Mel found the number and I feel a bit foolish not realizing people are so easily found. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> But please don't think we were off board supporting Jen not telling Rob because we were not. As Jelly said, we email to a group to a list serv of sorts. We have two h/w teams and some BS, FWS mixed in. I also feel that because of all this questioning of us "supporting" Jen that posters in Idiotville have lost credibility on the board. It is too bad, because many of us spent a lot of hours posting to others in need. Not all of my 7,000+ posts were in Idiotville. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
