Posted yesterday after committing huge LB with my WH on the phone. Immediately saw the error of my ways. Great advice from WAT.
WH wanted to meet me for dinner last night before his band practice. I said OK, I'd like that. But lo and behold! He drove all the way up to our house (half hour farther than where we were to meet). We spent about 45 min. together (very nice). Then he was called out on an emergency (he volunteers for local Search and Rescue). He said he's call me - it shouldn't take too long.
Got myself gussied up. Started toward where we were to meet. He did't call. So I made plans to meet our daughter for dinner. When he called, he apologized - he really wanted to see me for dinner. I told him of my plans. He would not be able to eat dinner at all.
Long story short...I stopped by band practice on my way home, and took him something to eat. He seemed glad to see me. Had me stay and listen to the music. A good night.
Started reading LB today. I can see so many places where I have done wrong over the years. My work is cut out for me. I see where we both could have done a better job with each other.
I hope that my resolve to stay away from LB's will add to my account in his love bank. Is it possible for one person to work on a marriage like this, and actually have it work out?

I'm starting to get a clue too, don't feel bad. I'm the LB king. Been doing it so long it's like a part of life for me. Sarcasm, cutting remarks and so on. Drove wife away from me and I'm finally getting a clue of what I have to do now. I'm actually excited about it. Watch for my posts, I am going to really get going on killing the LB monster in me.

I'm right behind you, Scissor! Remember to keep the sharp tips pointed down.
My remorse for all the years of LB's grows. Hope WH can see this, see the change in me. This site, the books, and responses from all give me hope.
Thanks, K

Not if the other is LBing you, so I would say no.. it allways takes the commitment and dedication of both spouses to make it work.
