I'm usually not around here very much, but I'm looking for Dylan. She and I were chatting not long ago and she just disappeared mid-conversation - no answer to my emails - nothing.

I'm a bit concerned and just want to make sure she's ok. If you've heard from her, please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Lori,

It has been a long time. I hope life is treating you well.

Dewt has been posting here on and off, but I have not seen Dylan posting here for quite awhile.

Hope you find her and all is well.

Hi there all,

Dylan has gone back to Smalltownsville to finish packing our stuff. Mini is with her. They should be back this weekend. Maybe Mon or Tues.

It's nice to see people here asking about her.

p.s.: I'm mostly don't post anymore because it seems like most people have written me off, and despite the fact that I probably deserve it, I've had about all the rejection I think I can stomach this year.

I still check in from time to time to look in on certain posters, but less and less so. If anyone ever wants to get in touch with me, my email is dewt2003@hotmail.com

Hey Lori!

It's great to see you here! How about a bit of an update?

I'm worried about Dylan too, she hasn't responded to any of my recent emails. Please let me know if you find out anything.

I hope all is well with you, your husband, and daughter.

Hey Dewt -

For what it's worth, I always followed your posts, just usually didn't have anything to contribute. You have always seemed smart, kind funny and very sincere to me. I'm sorry you have felt rejected here and I just wanted to let you know to please not feel that way. It sometimes seems to me that this board is so busy with newcomers that are in such serious pain that they take up most peoples time. Keep posting here I am sure that the rest of the members feel the same way about you as I do. How could they not?

Hi, everyone - WAT, 2long, JL! It's good to see old friends here! I smiled just seeing your names.

Dewt, thank you so much for the info. I've been so worried. I rarely come to MB anymore, but my email's here for anyone to use and I love hearing from folks. I came back a few weeks ago and read all of your posts, though. You were definitely a busy boy. The two of you can still make me dizzy sometimes. Couldn't decide between the frying pan, the salmon, or the 2X4 - or all three! Are you doing ok?

Pep, thanks so much for the email. It was good to hear from you.

Life is wonderful. Kristin is a junior in college now, believe it or not, and Robert and I are having a blast! It was REALLY hard to see her go, but I tell you, empty nesting has it's benefits!

What a difference five years makes, huh? LOL

It's so good to hear from you guys. Hope you're all doing well.

Lostva,

Just a note to tell you that I am a new fan of yours...for inspiration, I carry in my journal postings that I read and reread when I need strength to go on with this struggle. Your story is one of my main inspirations and just wanted to let you know how much you helped me.

I am glad to hear that things are going well. Good luck to you and god bless.

Aw, thanks, Suresurvivor, that's really nice to hear.

This sure is an experience, isn't it? We were definitely some of the lucky ones. And I never could have made it without this site and the friends that I made here. We had some seriously good times around here, believe it or not!

I never went back and deleted stuff once Robert and I reconciled. I figured that was part of complete honesty....if he wanted to read it, he could. So, except for what was lost during some of the reorgs....it's all there.....the good and the not-so-good.

Yes, things CAN be great again, they really can - even better. There are bumps and bruises, but you get to the point that it doesn't even hurt anymore to think of it or talk about it. I never would have believed that five years ago.

Hang in there. Everything you do, everything you learn from this site and the people here will make you a better and stronger person. That's a very good thing. I was always proud of the person I grew into while I was here. She was much better than the one I was before.

Lostva,

Thanks for replying. Today I need lots of inspiration and I may take your suggestion and light a candle for WH and me. WH not available by cell and when he calls back...he is mean so it probably means he is in contact today. I really need the message to "hang in there" and the hope that there is a tomorrow. Thanks for giving me a look at what could be possible. I want very much to learn and become a better person through this experience....I know I will become stronger.

Take care and god bless.

Howdy folks,

First off, I want to apologize for being so whiny. I have been having a really rough time of things lately and am not dealing with it well at all.

Believer, Weaver, Lori, Ark, thank you soooo much for your reassuring words. I really mean that. This site has really helped me through some tough times, and it's people like you that are the reason. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ahem... LOOOOOORI......... it's me, the one who took your salmon story to a new level by adding a FROZEN salmon and a blender! It's Sheryl, new_beginning, Nyneve. Thee of the thrise (or is that threese?) names.

Oh my GOSH, it's WONDERFUL to see you.

I don't come often either, but more lately to check on a friend who is in trouble... and I never expected to see you... but BOY AM I HAPPY I HAVE.

Great to hear about your family... I've thought of you so very often... and always with the deepest warmth and gratitude. You are a SWEETHEART.

By the way, dewt, please tell Dylan that I have missed her also. I haven't talked to her for about a year... she is a special person, and I've been concerned as well. You know, she helped me pick my "new" name Nyneve - although it isn't so new anymore... I bet she'll remember. Please let her know I'm thinking of her.

Okay, I'm gonna run, as it's the crack of dawn practically (well, it's 2:3something AM)... I work a night shift and sometimes have trouble hopping right into bed when I get home... plus, I'm waiting for my adorable H who also works a night shift... any minute now... he'll be home. A very happy W will be here to greet him.
