no contact.....I did not mail a letter to WW......I was going to call her but did not.....My lawyer called at11:00 am this morning to tell me that he got a fax from WW's lawyer....He told me that WW lawyer is changeing child support hearing from monday the 2nd to the week of the 9th or the week of the 23rd.......My lawyer told me that WW is going to have a lawyer at the child support hearing........So now I have to have mine there..........so now I will make sure that I have all my ducks in a row........My lawyer asked if I heard from WW I said no .He said if WW calls and wants D to let her have her........That I will have to think about...........
I called my Lawyer back at 2:30 to make sure he knew that my wife was 17 when she had D......... and 16 when she got P with D.......He said it does not matter because the statured of limitations is 7 yrs in this state, and it starts from the age of 18 untill 25........So she can not do anything....My lawyer also told me that she cannot bring it up in civil court.........It would have to be brought up in criminal court and she does not have a leg to stand on because she married me..........
On another note my mom bought subs tonite to celebrate........So I went to pick them up on the way home and the sub shop owner knew me and my WW........He said that WW was in there friday with a little girl (OM's 6 yr old)to pick up a pizza and a sub and he said WW looks real bad ......she is real skinny and wearing those hip huggers that teenagers wear now....and a tube top with her belly showing. He said she looks like she is on drugs..........( she ain"t) She has lost alot of wait and I think very confused.........The guy was going to ask her if OM was feeding her.............You know what I truly feel sorry for my wife......He told me that I should move on and let go.....I told him that that is my choice........She needs me more now then she has ever had.........I am taking a stand.........I told sub shop owner if he sees her again to tell her that Frank said the door is still open.......And that is it.......no more...... I feel like if I can't be there for her then who can...............She has no family...It is so sad.................. [ July 29, 2004, 06:38 PM: Message edited by: frankd ]

Good for you for still caring about your wife.
By the way, if your attorney says to let daughter visit your wife, you better do it.

Frank -
I'm sorry, I know how worried you are about your wife...worry, anger, grief, dispair all wrapped up into one. It must be terribly hard to deal with all the conflicting emotions. Everything else is bad enough, but through worry & concern into the mix and you got pure hell.
Hang in there!

Yes - my daughter will be 10 in Sept., and I know exactly what you mean. My D amazes me constantly at her ability to see the truth, at her logic, and at her unwavering belief system.
A GREAT age, in my opinion.

Nothing has changed. You have just told her she can't go to the OM's house.
You absolutely should not let her go to the OM's house UNLESS YOU ARE THERE to supervise and protect your D. Otherwise she can come to your house. THERE IS NO REASON YOUR W CAN'T COME TO YOUR HOUSE.
If she chooses NOT to come, or NOT to meet you some place, that is her prerogative, but there is no reason your D should EVER have to set foot in that unfit environment again.

P.S. I would send her that registered letter tomorrow saying just what JL said in his post to you. That way you are covered and it shows that you tried and tried to contact W to set up a visit and the OM just hung up on you.

Go back and read JL's post, what he said in there was SUPERB!
Also, consider this, Frank. You are going in front of the judge to fight for custody and you are going to tell him that W's house is an unfit environment. But if you let D go down there, he isn't going to believe you!
On the other hand, if you tell the judge that you would only let W visit D at your house after you determined her house was an UNFIT environment he will understand.
But if you try to tell the judge that W's house is unfit for D and he knows you continually let her go down there again and again, he will say it must not have been TOO UNFIT!
So see, it hurts you and D in every way if you let her go down here. It hurts D and it hurts your credibility before the judge. [ July 29, 2004, 09:35 PM: Message edited by: MelodyLane ]
